Two black men tortured and killed two white teenagers in Detroit in 2012. The sentencing was this week. The parents of the teens poured out their hearts, talking of their daily sorrow, the loss of the future with their children, the loss of grandchildren. One mom said she had sorrow in every fiber of her being and she would carry that with her for the rest of her life.
Then the murders were given a chance to apologize to the families for killing their sons, but one killer decided to completely ignore the heartbroken families and apologize to someone else:
Unbelievable. He has zero remorse for the teens he tortured and killed in cold blood. No sympathy for their families. He listened to their sorrow and completely ignored it. But hey, they're white, so they deserved it, right? Al Sharpton must be so proud.
Al Sharpton must be your hero or at least the person that leads & motivates you each morning. This story has nothing to due with Sharpton, yet you bring him into the conversation. For what? White conservatives are fascinated with this guy.
Regarding the story, these two individuals have nothing to due with the "hands up don't shot movement" and one guy is apparently attempting to grab headlines and nothing more... Sometimes people just need to put their prejudice in their pockets for a while and look at each situation case by case and with a critical eye...
This will be a local-coverage-only story: reverse the races and there'd be wall to wall national coverage for days.
Whites overwhelmingly control the media in the US. Maybe you should take this up with the corporations conservatives worship so much... Just a thought...

There is a point of truth behind every steryotype. I'm not talking individual people but various groups of people, whether it be nationality, skin color, club affiliation, gender, neighborhood, etc. You can't make that go away with magical thinking or by never mentioning it. Individuals need to be called out though.
This case, and a few others like it, have always horrified me. Moreso than any "shot by police" action because of the brutality and thought that went into it. You can't even point to a group of people because all different types do this stuff.
Regular basis? Whites get murdered far less by anyone, than persons of any other ethnicity other than Asians. Whites getting murdered is far rarer than Blacks getting murdered. In fact, Blacks get murdered far more than anyone else in the USA, making them the #1 murder victim in the USA. But from this post, you only care if Blacks murder Whites. How about caring when ANYONE gets murdered.
BTW, look up what happened in Joliet, IL. Two Black men murdered by four Whites, bodies dismembered too. Never made the national media. No word from Al Sharpton either or Jesse Jackson.
They are equally sick animals. Hope they spend the next few years in prison getting gang-raped daily and then die.

As white murderers are predominately white. Ultimately, who cares? The problem isn't race, it's criminal predators against innocent victims.
