No, but they have had terrorist attacks from the Muslims who live among them.

And only they change their country, we can't.

Why do these people go to Muslim countries and expose themselves to this kind of violence? Even if the money is better, wouldn't you rather work in a country not known for beheading people? I'm getting a little tired of caring about people who go over there voluntarily and end up dead.
Suicide by ISIS is like 'suicide by cop'. Personally Id rather be shot by a cop than have my head sawn off.

Just kill terrorists. If people go there and get caught and get their head hacked off, that's on them.

Lightbulb ISIS beheadings: getting compassion fatigue from civilians traveling there then getting in trouble.

Those who'd prefer to keep their heads attached to their necks would be well advised to avoid the middle east.

For 10,000 years and probably longer, it's been the sewer of humanity. Getting involved there just makes you stink. Or a corpse. Leave them to their petty cruelties. It's what they desire above all else. No one will dissuade them from their mindless hatred and intolerance. They'll have to grow up all on their own. Or not.

I doubt they were mentally unstable.

When you hear of people in overseas danger zones for no apparent or good reason, I always wonder if they were really there on multi-governmental cooperative surveillance work of some kind.

My heart goes out to them and their families.

Yikes.

Islamic State had militants demanded $200 million — the exact amount promised by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last week to help fight the group

So fighting the ISIS should be condemned?

ANYWAY, my heart goes out to these two men and their families, but no government should negotiate with terrorists.

I'd say these specialist of snowflakes that insist on traveling there are pretty much like people who date addicts and abusers. Something in their head is miss wired and they can have a need to be someone's savior or victim.

If it weren't for oil I doubt anyone would care about that region of the world.

That said- we need to thank OPEC for setting up the crash of Putin's economy by dumping oil on the market. But I still won't be visiting...
