And you wonder why no one is interested in compromising with liberals? You people are so blindly partisan even in a thread praising an Obama you attack conservatives.

Not surprisingly, media over there is blurring her image from the shoulders up.

Well said. I thought about responding to this idiocy myself but decided not to take the bait.

In the US we traditionally wear dark, somber colors to pay our respects to a person who died. Then again, we are talking about Michelle whose fashion sense is limited to picking out the drapes and carpet, so it is not any wonder she dressed in clothing that complimented the Saudi carpet.

Don't blame her. Chalk it up to her minions not informing her of protocol and simple etiquette when visiting other countries.

Of course you would... who doesn't like hearing exactly what they want to hear, even if it's a lie. There's a reason it's called an honest conversation, and I think Obama has forgotten how to be. He's a politician, and no better than Bush.

Personally, I'd rather have a beer with a a nice sunset than a talking head.

OK, I get it. Michelle did something right. That does not make up for the many, MANY things she has done wrong in the public eye. I am not a fan.

Good for Michelle. No western woman should be forced to comply with "local customs" in savage Kingdoms like Saudi Arabia.

She already covered up fully otherwise, except for the hair. Hijab, burqas, etc. are for the locals and the religious. NOT Americans. We don't cover our women here to placate sad little men.
