They were called "Terrorists" in India at the time (and today).
No question in the Reagan years we helped the Taliban ,we were not now and I like to stay in the present

If you like to stay in the present, why are you bringing up an obscure executive order signed by president Bush in February, 2002, a couple weeks before we invaded another sovereign nation? That's 13 years ago.

Here and now............the Taliban are not a terrorist organization. If they were, we'd still have 80 thousand troops over there hunting them down. They are a local insurgency that consider the puppet government of Afghanistan the US created to be their enemy.
