While she is talking about things in politically correct terms, what she said is essentially correct. If you leave out the PC stuff, you're left with transgenderism simply being a birth defect. At some point in development a section of the fetus' brain goes along the path leading to the development of one sex while the rest of the fetus' brain and body goes along the other path.
