They're ****, huh? Yeah, the guy you've never heard of who smoked crack in his apartment is a menace. Just kill him, right? What's the point! Yeah, that homeless guy who stole just so he could eat is vile and evil.
Seriously, this country is f****ed. So selfish and narrow minded.
neither of these people would be in prison. likely just be in jail. Here in California they are releasing tons of prisoners so some homeless guy who stole a loaf of bread would not be in prison.

Ok, probably not. In which case, they are just saying stuff for fun. To get a reaction. There's a tern for that. It's called .... people who intentionally say mean or disruptive things in the hopes of getting a reaction.
And if you say what it's called, it's a forum violation to call them out for doing it. There you go.
They don't deserve luxury but they need to be given decent food.
If you're going to take charge of another person's life you owe them at least the basics of humanity.
Let's also bear in mind that we've got a lot of people locked up for trivial offenses and many who are probably innocent. If we want them to be decent citizens when they get out we can't treat them barbarically.

Depends on the crime......some did not give the victim any thought of their next meal. Low crime people are different than violent crime prisoners, these people can eat rice and beans for all I "care."

I can't believe this thread is still going on. It's just common sense that we should not give maggot-infested, moldy or rotten food to anyone. At the same time, there is no reason for prisoners to receive better food than our own Navy feeds to their sailors out to sea.
You're an expert on this, I see. Are you eating maggots yourself or feeding them to your family?
