They were upset -- for about a month.

Then when the invasion of Afghanistan started being seriously talked about, they went back to their "Muslims are victims" schtick.

Ever since, they've been shrieking about Gitmo, "torture", etc.

And of course, they just go ballistic when a middle-aged blond woman in Texas rightfully tells the Muslims to get lost.

What an atrocity! What racism! What a crime against humanity!

The invasion of Afghanistan was favored by the US public by a margin of 80-18.

As I said, they went back to their old ways. It didn't happen immediately.

Uh...no. Not in the U.S. That's what the Constitution is for. Establishment clause. That "separation of church and state" thing that I see fellow Christians get pissy about every few months or so.* That's put in place specifically so that "Islamization" or "Christification" or whatever doesn't happen. Everybody has the same religious rights as everyone else, period, and will keep them, period.** Solved that problem 230 years ago.

*Except I've never heard those complaints at my church, but we're all Unitarians so in retrospect it makes sense.
**Unless their religious ritual involves taking the rights of another or doing anything unlawful, such as locking a Buddhist in a motel closet or punting a Sikh's pet rabbit like a football.
I see that you "overlooked" a large part of my post.

Come back when you find your honest streak.

I don't recall anyone saying anyone in Afghanistan was a victim of Israel. And despite being fairly anti-Israel, I don't believe it myself.

So a group of terrorists want their own recognized day and the protester are vilified? Great story.

Yes, the very first thing I think of when a gathering is disrupted is that it is so very similar to people being lynched, having dogs set on them, and being shot with fire hoses.

Come on and get real. Any point you were trying to make is utterly destroyed that absurd exaggeration.

There reaches a point in time when people wake up to these people and stop making excuses/justifying why Americans should always be turning the other cheek...
