Of course not...they've practically sprinted into chamber to get Keystone passed and have been piling on amendments to other bills, but they STILL aren't addressing other vital issues. Seriously...trying 56 times to repeal the ACA? Will they never comprehend that President Obama was elected twice because people approved of that program?
You can have your own opinion, but not your own facts. The polls have shown for years that most people do not like the ACA. The majority want it repealed, as opposed to the people who want to keep it as is which have been a tiny minority.
Not really, because the majority of people don't want it repealed. They might not support it, but they prefer it to be fixed over scrapped. The other problem is that they will get blamed this time around for not getting anything done because they are in charge now.
That's exactly what I'm pointing out. They came in this time all puffed up about how they were going to take the reins of government and get something done for the American people. What do they do?
They come up with another piece of meaningless, cheezy legislation that means nothing and is all political bluster. And did it 56 times!!!!! For the love of God.
Meanwhile, our infrastructure is falling apart due to 40 years of neglect.
The president has specifically asked congress for direction and funding in the fight against terrorism.
Our immigration policies are a mish mash of band aids and executive orders while the solution sits on their desk that could fix the problem tomorrow.
They refuse to fund Homeland security
And on and on.
All they've come up with is the great idea of shoving a Canadian pipeline up the ass of middle America and taking away healthcare for millions of American citizens.
They say one thing, but demonstrate what their true priorities are with their actions.
If congress gives money to Obama to 'enforce' the laws, he is only going to use it to enforce the laws he agrees with.
That is for sure. Obama has destroyed the rule of law.
Obama has twisted our nation's laws so that only those portions of the laws he agrees with are enforced, if he disagrees with a law or any section of a law, he instructs his admin to ignore it, not enforce it, or he just rewrites laws on the fly.

You are being overly dramatic.
The Republicans cannot do anything at all unless the president signs their legislation into law, or they would need to obtain a bipartisan super majority to override a presidential veto.
So go peddle your crazy talk somewhere else.
BTW, how could congress fix our immigration laws, when the president refuses to follow the current laws right now? Passing a law is useless if the president refuses to enforce it.

One can find about anything on the internet...even an article from Forbes saying that the ACA would be repealed by 2014. People, however, like the idea of having health care insurance, being able to pay for their meds, etc. Only after years of nonsense about "death panels" and "killing Granny" have we seen the approval numbers drop. What is the GOP alternative plan to see that all Americans have access to the health care that they need?

The numbers in all these polls have remained fairly stable for several years and usually are shown to have increased for repeal.
It's also how they ask the questions. When given just two options, repeal or keep, the repeal always goes over 50% sometimes as high as 60%.
Never will you read the Obamacare cheerleaders admit or ever reveal this fact.

You have not bothered to look into what the Republican alternative might look like, you just create the worst scenarios in your mind and run with that.
2) Simply state they do not believe the health insurance industry needs regulation and the market should decide. They need to do this EXPLICITLY.
