House Passes 56th Anti-Obamacare Measure

WASHINGTON -- The House of Representatives on Tuesday voted for the 56th time to repeal or undermine the Affordable Care Act.

We should all be very very proud of our legislators as they tackle the pressing issues our nation faces.
Hate to inform you, but this is why the Republican Congress was elected.

Especially with all the other issues on the table. One being the fact that President Obama specifically asked congress for direction and a national debate from congress in how to combat ISIS and other terrorists organizations, in his state of the union address.
Some can't see the forest for the trees.

By the way can you post ALL your post where YOU complained about the DEM controlled NOT passing a budget.

I smell a hypocrite.

It's like the old vinyls we used to listen to, with a tendency to get a scratch and endlessly repeat a verse or two. It would be great if they were also concerned about the 66,000 unsafe bridges or the need to fund Homeland Security.
"the 66,000 unsafe bridges" Are ALL 66,000 federal or are some locally owned?

Or maybe the money collected from the taxpayers should have gone to those bridges INSTEAD of building bike paths and other non bridge junk.

Just saying.

Even more so at the state level. Again its why the libbies are squirming. Prepare for some real squealing from them when the congress really starts to ramp up.

But, the lefties NEVER complained about that!

Why don't YOU post ALL the MAJOR bills the dem controlled "adult" Senate passed to address those
"serious problems" they ignored for 8 YEARS?

"A budget, we DON'T NEED a budget", harry reid. Then we have the 'We will NOT compromise"

Always the liberal way, raise taxes.

OR they could get rid of the waste, fraud and abuse and get rid of useless programs that have been on the books for decades.

Heaven forbid we be responsible with out tax dollars.

Bring it to the floor and with one fell swoop, the house could amend it to their satisfaction and nullify all of the president's EO's concerning immigration.
But no,..........repealing the ACA for the 56th time has a much higher priority than immigration reform.
The proof is in the pudding, after all.

Don't disappoint me now.
Somebody needs to come in and grumble, "We don't need a comprehensive immigration reform bill" "We just need the president to enforce the laws already in place."
Never mentioning the fact that the house won't approve the necessary funding to allow the president to enforce the laws already in place. Or the fact that those laws have been in place since the 1986 Reagan amnesty and nobody else has done that good a job of enforcing them either.
"the house won't approve the necessary funding to allow the president to enforce the laws already in place"

And isn't the dems in Congress the ones who WON'T do a budget and go the Continuing Resolution route year after year?

It is amazing how you debs whine about the repubs when it is your fault.

Being you know so much about the issue, what have they done with the money they ALREADY have gotten over the past several years?

Explain WHY they CAN"T do their job WITHOUT MOTE money.

"Billions Proposed for New Border Security. Where Would the Money Go?

I know this is from 2013 but, it still applies.

"Federal spending on border security is at an all-time high—and it would get even higher under the Gang of Eight’s new plan. The Senate immigration proposal, released last week, would allocate $4.5 billion in the next five years to tighten control of U.S. borders. The U.S. spent nearly $18 billion dollars on immigration enforcement agencies last fiscal year, more than all other law enforcement agencies combined."

Didn't complain and really just refused to acknowledge it.

HMM, as I recall the DEMS had control of the Senate and the Senate Majority Leader co-sponsored the bill authorizing the wars and it was the DEM CONTROLLED Senate that OKed the spending.

Libs sure have short memories.
