Every one was saying how we'd finally get something done with a Republican controlled congress. Well, they finally did something and passed some legislation.
Finally! The unemployed will all have a job, the sick will all be healed, the large corporations will have unfettered access to profit.
Congress.............demonstrating how to get the job done,.........one bill at a time.
I find it ironic that one of the first pieces of legislation they do pass is this one. Shows where they have their heads stuck.
Especially with all the other issues on the table. One being the fact that President Obama specifically asked congress for direction and a national debate from congress in how to combat ISIS and other terrorists organizations, in his state of the union address.
Some can't see the forest for the trees.
By the way can you post ALL your post where YOU complained about the DEM controlled NOT passing a budget.
Which has nothing to do with the thread topic, shifty. Apparently the only legislation the GOP sees as fit to "work" on is repealing a law...one law. It is, in fact, a law creating a program that has helped millions of Americans with getting access to healthcare, which saves money in several ways. It's like the old vinyls we used to listen to, with a tendency to get a scratch and endlessly repeat a verse or two. It would be great if they were also concerned about the 66,000 unsafe bridges or the need to fund Homeland Security.

Or maybe the money collected from the taxpayers should have gone to those bridges INSTEAD of building bike paths and other non bridge junk.
Hate to inform you, but this is why the Republican Congress was elected.
Even more so at the state level. Again its why the libbies are squirming. Prepare for some real squealing from them when the congress really starts to ramp up.

The immigration issue is much more pressing than the repeal of the ACA. How come the House won't take up the comprehensive immigration reform bill passed with a heafty bipartisan vote in the senate, 38 to 62? It's sitting in their inbox right now, as we speak.
Bring it to the floor and with one fell swoop, the house could amend it to their satisfaction and nullify all of the president's EO's concerning immigration.
But no,..........repealing the ACA for the 56th time has a much higher priority than immigration reform.
The proof is in the pudding, after all.
Don't disappoint me now.
Somebody needs to come in and grumble, "We don't need a comprehensive immigration reform bill" "We just need the president to enforce the laws already in place."
Never mentioning the fact that the house won't approve the necessary funding to allow the president to enforce the laws already in place. Or the fact that those laws have been in place since the 1986 Reagan amnesty and nobody else has done that good a job of enforcing them either.

Balanced budget only applies when Democrats are in office. It's a stranglehold on finances used as a political strategy by the republicans.
When republicans run the tables, we get two unfunded wars that don't even show up on the books and a completely unfunded drug giveaway. All to secure votes for the republican base.
HMM, as I recall the DEMS had control of the Senate and the Senate Majority Leader co-sponsored the bill authorizing the wars and it was the DEM CONTROLLED Senate that OKed the spending.
