It will be interesting to see how many potheads there are on here.

For me, I think it should only be for medical use. I think it has a lot of benefits to make somebody comfortable while receiving chemotherapy. I think its dumb to use for recreational use. Its almost like saying "lets make prescription drugs/over the counter drugs legal for recreational use because it isn't as bad as alcohol!"

I'm curious to see what the freedom loving conservatives think about this!

I'm all for pot. As long as it doesn't hurt others, "my body, my rules" applies. Legalize it in all forms.

Do you think people should be allowed to use prescription drugs for recreational use also? "My body, my rules." How about people using over the counter drugs for fun?

I try not to stand on it, because I never know what I may have stepped on prior.

I don't smoke pot (edit - any longer. I think it's almost a requirement when you are college age) and have no interest in smoking pot.

That being said, the government banning a plant is ridiculous. People should be allowed to grow and smoke marijuana if they choose to do so.

It's just a plant and should be completely legalized. No one has ever died or overdosed from weed. It also has proven medical benefits.

Just the word overdosed is the appropriate wording.
