I disagree! We do not to get even more involved with these tribal fights. We need to get completely out of the Middle East and let these fools fight it out between themselves. Then, in a couple of decades or so, we can, if we want to, go back and kill the survivors.

My feelings as well. This is a problem for the Middle East to deal with. Not worth the life of an American serviceman. There are more than 30 million people in Iraq...vs somewhere around 50k in ISIS. If Iraqis want ISIS gone, they can do the fighting and dying. And if they aren't willing to do so, they aren't worth American support anyway.

Regardless, welcome to Gulf War III. Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

Marine Lance Corporal Sean P. Neal died Thursday in Baghdad in what the Pentagon is calling a "non-combat related incident," which remains under investigation.

The 19-year-old Riverside, Calif., native was in the Marine's 2nd Battalion, 7th Regiment in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

I don't think U.S. troops should be fighting these savages (isis), not worth it.

As a former paratrooper, HHC Recon, 2/325 AIR 82nd ABN and Iraq combat vet, I am proud of my airborne brothers who are deploying to help eliminate ISIL.

Look, I get that the war in Iraq was misguided and foolish, but these ISIL idiots just need to be exterminated. If you really believe that they are going to leave us alone over here once they have control over there, then I can assure you that you are wrong. This is the unfortunate reality that we live in. We screwed up the entire region and now we have to win the fight. Next time don't vote for an idiot who's never read a history book.

God bless the Airborne and let's hope they come home safely and soon.

So frustrating to watch... It helps if you aim.

Go with full force, or not at all. The Powell Doctrine.
Powell Doctrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

IIRC there was another prez who warned against 'pussyfooting.' Go or do not go--make up your mind.

I know this is not politically correct to say, but these animals deserve a-bomb.

I'm also a former paratrooper (B Co. 4/325 ABCT Vicenza , Italy) and this is a load of b.s.

We have no business sending our boys to die in some Middle Eastern hellhole that is no threat to us!

I agree. I heard on the news this morning that they are now crucifying children and burying them alive. They are all scum.
