He'll be remembered as the President who destroyed America.

He'll be remembered as being a fairly ineffective President during one of the more divided times with many controversies.

"What comes to mind when I say President Obama?"

"A President who was elected because he was black."

Destroyed? America has improved substantially since January 2009, when the Incompetent One left office. Conservative history books are stacked in the fantasy section.

That's the KKK's take on it. Good thing they don't write history books--too busy eating paint chips.

There are always major issues of the day, but that doesn't mean history will attach any particular importance to them. The wars we're involved in are not major conflicts like the Civil War or the World Wars, the recession was not a shattering event like the Great Depression was, and Obamacare is really just an expansion to an already-existing welfare state. 50 years from now none of these things will be heralded as major events or accomplishments. Similarly, all the scandals that have surrounded Obama will be long forgotten.
Overcoming the second largest recession in 80 years? Not that big a deal! The War on Terror? Nothing to see here, folks! Healthcare reform, something that eluded previous administrations? Blip on the radar screen!

Like I said, delusional.

Using your logic, Reagan will be swiftly forgotten too--he preceded over zero major wars, and a milder recession. If you want to argue that he single-handedly destroyed the Russians, save it. Gorbachev played a much larger role in ending the Cold War, and that didn't happen until Ronnie was long gone from the White House.

Very well stated.

After saving many American lives for withdrawing our troops from this elusive victory in Iraq where many soldiers were being killed on daily basis? You want another Bush to start another war ,spend billions for NO "VICTORY ACCOMPLISHED" ? Just asking !

Polk will be more remembered than the boy king that almost half the country voted against.

First black and Obamacare mostly as those are the enduring accomplishments that people can see and relate to. If Obama's health care plan remains eponymous, he will forever be enshrined in history. It would be like calling Social Security "Roosevelt Care" or some such.

Under any competent president, the MINOR RECESSION at the time Bush left, would have been over in 6 months. Obama created the never ending recession.
