I remember the subject just appearing on hate radio in a short span of time a couple of years ago. Sean, Laura, Mark Levin, etc. all quickly received their talking points and got on the same page. I remember thinking at the time "why are they bringing this up all of a sudden?" Then I realized it was a tactic to distract from teh war

This has a lot to do with it.

Talk radio didn't create this. The people who live in those places (the two darkest shade of "brown states") are witnessing dramatic cultural and quality-of-life changes- for the worse- in real life, first hand, and a lot of them take exception to it.
Talk to any long time Arizonan or Central Floridian.

I hate the war and think it's a joke too, but the extreme wave of immigration that has occurred over the past decade isn't just some myth and the people who mention it usually do so because of first hand experience.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. But I list it about number 30 in my list of concerns. Global warming and the dollar/overspending problem pose a much more real threat than some illegals.

We are in a planetary emergency.

Looks to me like illegal immigration is making many Americans angry.

More like the non-response of those elected to uphold the laws and secure our borders are what really make the citizens angry.

If this discussion veers off as an illegal alien topic, I'll move it to the Immigration Forum.

If you want to briefly list it as a personal point of view, fine. But keep it limited to only that perspective.

Point is well taken and I agree as I did ask that everyone follow the TOS when I started it. Ok everyone, back to venting but kindly keep it on topic.

i am angry that all of my money is going to the government and that it will never be enough to fix all the problems that people want fixed, and that there is no sense of personal responsibility anymore.

I already posted on this once but it got me thinking .....
What are you HAPPY about????
That I live in a country where I can vote without getting shot at before or after.
That this country is one that people are fighting to get INTO not OUT of!
I have great job that allows me to take care of my family in relative comfort.
A great wife thats puts up with my occasional crap.
2 smart,respectfull, fun kids
This is just a short list! There's a line form an old movie "Always with the negative waves!!!!!!" IMHO to many people concentrate on the negative instead of the positive.

MODS; Please feel free to move this if think it should be
