While I agree that simply blaming others without doing anything about it isn't productive but at the same time ignoring that their are real barriers/obstacles for certain groups have to deal with is equally shortsighted. Also people need to stop using rare exceptions as if they are the norm for everybody. Just because we have an African American president doesn't mean that racial inequality is over. For every successful rapper like Jay Z and 50 Cent, there are thousands of rappers who don't become successful.
And for every successful billionaire like Bill Gates, there are thousands of white men who are homeless, unemployed, destitute, etc. What excuse do they get to use?

Even poor white men still have forms of privilege over other Black males but this thread isn't about "White men vs Black men" in America. This thread is about Black males and the transgender community.
I would say Blacks do. Being a trans-sexual is a choice. And you don't have to tell anyone you are a trans-sexual. Being Black, well all anyone has to do is take one look at you and know you are Black.

Being a transsexual isn't a choice. Electing to have surgery is. The two are not the same.
This is the dumbest thread I've seen in a long time and that's saying something.
