Here's your problem...And I'm not gonna save your bacon here...
You scoured the boards trying to find me saying something disparaging about white people as a whole, and came up lame.
So you grabbed a quote...And here you are asking me (twice) to clarify it for you. This essentially means that you grasped at straws looking for an ACTUAL relevant quote, but couldn't find one. The one you grabbed is irrelevant to the thread, but you want me to expound on it in a way to help you further your point that you were too lame or either too illiterate to make for yourself.
This thread is asking a question of minorities as to their interactions with white people.
I said that mine are good. Now why this makes you so angry is anyone's guess, but it shows you to be pretty pathetic.
"All Whites have been socialized to believe they are superior"...and people like this get mad when Whites make statements like Blacks are this.. or Hispanics are this. So, you are saying that a toothless person who lives in a dilapidated trailer in Eastern Kentucky, on welfare is superior to a non-White person simply because of the color of his skin?
I said they have been socialized to believe that. Care to dispute that?

In my opinion, at least 75% of white people in this country are racist in some form or fashion. That racism manifests itself periodically in my interactions with whites. It's annoying but to be expected.

I hope it's okay for me to ask this question, because I don't want to be offensive or anything, but in your encounters with white people, do they generally treat you with respect, or are they typically rude to you and racist. I'm wondering about this because when I interact with the general public, I try to treat everyone, regardless of their race or ethnicity, with professionalism and courteousness, but I was wondering if minorities find this shocking or unusual.
Again, I hope I'm not being offensive, I just am genuinely curious about your experiences in the world, i.e. is racism constant and typical, or is it not typical but it's shocking and painful when it happens?
I am black and I have lived in multiple places across the country. Some were majority white and some were majority black. I just want to first off notate that I don't look at color. It's irrelevant to me. I don't speak for other black people but my experiences with caucasions have been overwhelmingly positive. I've always believed that one's life experiences has everything to do with their attitude and mindset. I've always been a positive individual and treated everyone with respect and that's what I've been given in return. I've always had friends of many races. Never held any ridiculous grudge over nonsense. What I've noticed is that a large proportion of African-Americans aren't like me and that's all I have to say about that.

First off, If you're a male, I'd say .. grow a pair!
That whole post was metro-sexualized!
Don't want to offend.
Is it okay to ask a question?
Shocking and painful.
Sorry but, if this is how you present yourself in the real world .. your problem isn't 'blackness'.
Yes, I am a half and half minority and no, I have no problems with white folks, White folks .. love me!

Good thing your opinion doesn't count for much .. except to you.
Where do folks like you live?
I've been half black most of my 63 years and have never been so 'cowed'.
(The first couple of years .. I had no idea what color I was)

This is a very ignorant, blanket statement. How many White people do you know or interact with on a daily basis? I live in a state that is 92% White and people here are absolutely nothing like what you describe.
This thread really makes me ashamed of being a "minority"- a large percentage of minorities in this country are extremely ignorant and uneducated.
