LOL yeah. I love the notion that, with all of the war and poverty and non-Jesus things going on in the world, God wants to punish Alabama for allowing gays to marry.

I have it on good authority that GOD is ticked off by all those crosses you all burn down there. Also one of the 10 Commandments says GOD does not want people to presume to speak for him.

Just out of curiosity, is there some kind of state law in Alabama that says complete morons have to be put in charge of the state?

That explains Alabamas problem since like.. the civil war then. If we were to blame God that is.

No, but it's traditional, and my impression is that a lot of alabamans think of themselves as traditional values voters.

Hats off to the alabamans who are trying to drag the rest into the 21st century.

No, its just what happens when morons vote, and we have our fair share of them here.

I've always been tickled by the idea that there's a creator of the Universe who cares about things like the mating rituals practiced by chemicals currently coating rocks or whether my lunch's hooves were cloven or not.
