David Moore, Montana lawmaker, seeks ban on yoga pants in public - Washington Times

A Montana lawmaker, Republican David Moore, says tight-fitting clothing like yoga pants and Speedos press right up against indecency laws and ought to be banned.

So he’s introduced a bill that would prohibit the public wearing of clothing items that “give the realistic appearance” of parts of a person’s anatomy that should be left completely to the imagination, the Billings Gazette reported.

Yes Virginia, republicans are as freedom hating and controlling as democrats.

As an aside, I'll bet Mr. Moore was secretly wearing women's panties when he introduced the bill.

This is what happens when Republicans gain power, they get all freaky. Other than the ever vigilant, and apparently voyeuristic Mr. Moore, I have yet to see a man walking down a public street in a speedo and flaunting his stuff. Maybe Mr. Moore is just looking too hard.

Where's that transplant from Montana that told me off and said I didn't know anything about freedom loving Montana?

Frank, as a sidenote, nobody in the Dems in recent memory have tried to control what people wear, especially when it comes to women

Support the speedo ban. Oppose the yoga pants ban.

Good thing is that this will never make it out of committee.

My question is how much of the taxpayer's money will this asinine bill cost.

WTF, isn't there more important things that these A_$$hats should be spending their time on ?!

I would be okay with this, although I would prefer to let social norms take care of the problem. Restaurants may be a different issue -- I don't care to see people walking around in speedos and yoga pants when I am trying to eat.

Ban yoga, not the pants.
