Yes, this exactly. She knew AND accepted what she was exposing herself to and the risks involved. The Che poster with someone carrying the Palestinian flag behind her in the photo is very telling.

If this is the case she got what she wanted, OH WELL !

Her decision she made going into with both eyes open. These stoneage fanatics cannot be reasoned with.

I still think it's sad what happened to her no matter her sympathies. She was young and idealistic, and she's not the only one to symphathize with the Palestinians. I wonder what she thought of the whole thing after she was taken by ISIS. Poor little girl had to go through hell there.

Seems the fact if true were not reported correctly. If that is her e-mails she certain see deaths only on one side as tragic. Seems to forget all the intentional bombings of buses aimed at women and children by the Palestinians.

Just another St. Pancake in my view. And yeah, that is a pretty tasteless comment, but I don't suffer terrorist sympathizers lightly.
Someone pointed out a Che Guevara poster on her wall in a photo of her (presumably at home). So many misguided young people.

She would have been at risk if she had been truly working for a "humanitarian aid" group, to be sure. But she was especially at risk signing on with the ISM. She had to know she might make it out alive. She was being used. SMH

If Jesus Christ came down and administered to the poor and oppressed, there would be a right wing, conservative blog that would vilify him and provide nasty, partisan links to prove it.

I feel bad for her parents. How embarrassing for them (or did they know full well who she was working for?).

Or more than likely it's only reported there because it's BS.
