I have little sympathy for anyone going to war torn/terrorist area's. I applaud those who go for humanitarian reasons but it still a huge risk and they are taking.
Of course, the ISM is not a "humanitarian" group. They work toward the destruction of Israel, and the annihilation of Jews. She knew that. She was part of it. That's why I said in my OP, she was aiding terrorists.
She gets no more sympathy from me. I had not realized this before. She caused her own death.
Nice Che Guevara poster behind her, lol.
My feeling on this since the get-go are 1) Why is her life any more important than all the others who've died at the hands of ISIS? and 2) I actually feel less sorry for her since she chose to travel to that area knowing full well the risks. Like a Formula One driver who crashes at 200mph and dies. It's still sad, but they knew the risks when they got in the damn car.
If Jesus Christ came down and administered to the poor and oppressed, there would be a right wing, conservative blog that would vilify him and provide nasty, partisan links to prove it.
There are poor and there are terrorists. Helping doctors without borders good. Helping terrorists bad.
Obviously common sense was lacking on her part.
Note to idealists, go over and get killed, its on you. Do not expect sympathy.
And if Christ were alive today he would deplore the terrorists action.
If she was such a pro muslim pro Palestinian activist then why would ISIS kill her?
Last I heard ISIS is claiming she was killed in a bombing raid. Not by them.
