Report: The 10 richest U.S. presidents

After being relatively impoverished as Arkansas governor, with a salary of $35,000/yr, Bill moves into the list of all time richest presidents. He credibly claims that

According to the excellent Blood Sport by James Stewart, Bill never cared much about money. He was only interested in politics, and in that sweet **** tang.

So then the question becomes, what did Bill do to amass all of that wealth? Most of the richest US presidents did it through land ownership. That was the case with Washington, Madison, Tyler, and Jackson. Several had inherited wealth such as both Roosevelts and JFK. Hoover was an engineer and successful developer. What exactly did Bill Clinton do for his millions?

Sold access to foreign governments and corporations (both foreign and domestic). Just like Cankles has been doing these past years. Limbaugh, accurately, calls them the Clinton Crime Family.

Bill Clinton earns his money like many other x-presidents have done---with speaking fees and book sales.

It's not a mystery. Most of it has to do with his global popularity, and the fact that he is constantly giving speeches and essentially profiting from the fact that he used to be the president. It probably helps that he isn't thought of as a completely disaster like Bush.

How the Clintons went from

Quote:
Bill Clinton has been paid $104.9 million for 542 speeches around the world between January 2001, when he left the White House, and January 2013, when Hillary stepped down as secretary of state, according to a Washington Post review of the family’s federal financial disclosures.

Although slightly more than half of his appearances were in the United States, the majority of his speaking income, $56.3 million, came from foreign speeches, many of them in China, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom, the Post review found.

The financial industry has been Clinton’s most frequent sponsor. The Post review showed that Wall Street banks and other financial services firms have hired Clinton for at least 102 appearances and paid him a total of $19.6 million.

Since leaving the State Department, Hillary Clinton has followed her husband and a roster of recent presidents and secretaries of state in this profitable line of work, addressing dozens of industry groups, banks and other organizations for pay. Records of her earnings are not publicly available, but executives familiar with the engagements said her standard fee is $200,000 and up, and that she has been in higher demand than her husband.

Hillary might be interested in what might be Bill's secret bank accounts. She never knew they really weren't broke when they left the whitehouse. again HRC was uninformed. Now where did she put that reset button?

Accuracy and Limbaugh have nothing in common and never will. He is a pompous, lying addict.

Same as Palin, books and speaking engagements... but Bill can draw bigger fees and isn't limited to the US market.
