BTW, the poll didn't say :average" it said median, which we all know isn't the same as average. And yes, I will try to link it if I can or get hubby to.

The only people doing actual journalism anymore are people like Jon Stewart or Bill Maher. Cable news in general is a complete waste of time.

Let's talk about the weather some more!
Bill Maher, true journalism? Don't tell that to a real journalist, you would be laughter out of the room, even a liberal one..Believe me I live with a retired one and know a lot of others.

Yes, so do I. I worked at CBS News in NYC for 10 years. And most of the TV hosts at Fox News are not "real journalists" either.

And I am a millennial who watches Fox News.
Actually, I could not care less what millenials watch. I was responding to someone who claimed that a polls that were one month to six months old, reflecting that the average age of Fox News viewers is 60 years old, were irrelevant. I don't see how that changes anything, as it is doubtful Fox News has picked up a large group of millenial viewers in the last 6 months.

Perhaps if you did not simply take comments out of context for the sole purpose of making an off-topic comment (I don't recall MSNBC even being part of the equation so I have no idea what that even means) the posts would make more sense to you.

So where is it that you learned YOUR bigotry and intolerance????

Who cares? Is that suppose to be important to anybody?

"Millennials couldn't care less about the news.
That's according to the research of University of Texas at Austin journalism professor Paula Poindexter. Young people do not make it a priority to stay informed because they feel that media talks down to them, comes off as propaganda or is just plain boring, Poindexter found. They also think most news media do not cover issues important to them."
Millennials And News Study: Youth View The News As 'Garbage,' Don't Like Being Talked Down To By It

In other words they don't watch MUCH news to start with so, why would anybody be concerned with so few viewers?
Apparently the OP is, as that is what this thread is about.

You mean the thread, or copying and pasting a page of copywrited data?

Ok--and this should matter to me why?

Copying and pasting a page of Nielsen ratings can hardly be considered "research."

I could be wrong but, it looks like to me FOX has MORE viewers in EVERY age group and EVERY time slot INCLUDING MILENNIALS, So yes, maybe they DID pick up more milennials in the last 6 months or maybe they had them for some time.
That is not what the thread is about, and I don't really know why it is relevant to it.

Fox may be mainly for seniors but I don't think their audience is 100% seniors.

You use a source like this and complain about FOX. Really?

If if it were true, I posted the ACTUAL viewing results for Feb 13 and FOX had MORE viewers then ANY OTHER CABLE "news" show.

Which means, EVEN with a 30% drop they STILL OUR DREW the other cable shows.

It doesn't look to well for the others if FOX drops 30% and STILL beats the others.

Which goes to show what you "thought" isn't true.
