Not buying F-35s may be a good idea.

Italy should start thinking of reforming back the Roman Republic and put those Libyan camel riders in their places. For good.

BTW I'm pretty sure the Italians and the rest of Europe realize that if and when an attack happens all they'll get from Obama is more hot air, inaction and excuses.
A huge expensive war can't stop it from happening either. So the idea is to go ahead and get American's killed in the idea that maybe some might be killed in the future?

I am wondering why we are not taking out the fleets of our trucks going down the road. They have our cop cars and trucks with nicely painted Islamic State on the side......took our emblems off quickly and showing them proudly. Why isn't Obama taking out the group as they travel down these roads?

They are not "our" vehicles, they belonged to the Iraqi military. And, yes, we are destroying them from the air as the opportunity arises.

As an Italian i would talk of a threat and never about an invasion. ISIS simply stands no chance against any somewhart decent regular army, let alone Italy's. It's more about the risk of eventual attacks, if they ever conquered Libya, they'd gain acces to missiles that could be accurate enough to hit targets on Sicily and the southern fringes of Italian mainland.

Our government is also concerned because Libya is our main source of gas and oil, other than that we've been Libya's main economical partners for decades, so there are also economical concerns about ISIS involvment is Libya.

As the world turns......

then again o has sliced and diced and relabeled terrorists to the point no one knows who he is talking about. Wouldn't trust obama's judgement as to who he should arm...fast and furious aside.

One of the reasons we can not win a war like this is because there isn't a single person that knows what they are talking about doing the talking.

Italy scared about a threat not even about them. Obama and the main war mongers in the GOP arguing one day that we need to arm Isis and then the next day arguing to kill them or what we should call them.

You can not win a war lead by morons.

Which makes the article even more idiotic.

Italy is already deeply involved in the coalition airstrikes against ISIS.

Emphatically agreed. It's like a parody of everything Republicans like to criticize about government programs came to life. Latest I read was that the F-35 gun is "expected" to be able to be fired in 2017. Because hey, that problem has never been solved before.

Now, this makes sense. Thanks for injecting a bit of reason.
