The Keystone Pipeline would have had no effect on this shipment or this accident from happening. Or are you saying we need to now build a pipeline from North Dakota to Yorktown, VA?
Do any of you realize how many thousands of miles of operational pipelines are already in the ground and have operated safely in this country for decades?

Nope, most people don't.... Put it this way, I'll take pipelines in my yard over high voltage lines anywhere near me. People have high pressure natural gas lines buried in their yard and don't even know or care, but oil, especially that crap from the tar sands, ( literally crap so thick it makes molasses look clean) and its " ohh me ohh my"
Seriously, I swear everyone thinks natural gas comes to their homes just for the fun of it.
Yes lets let a Canada ship oil in a pipeline across our country for....35 fulltime jobs? And a foreign company gets to exercise eminent domain on Americans. yeah that sounds like a good idea.
