You are clueless as to what the term, "American exceptionalism" means.

And, that was exactly Guiliani's point. There is no doubt. He runs around the world apologizing for America, he attended a "church" for 20 years (Guiliani said 17) in which the Pastor spewed hatred for America. In addition, he has criticized our Constitution, and our entire system of government (because it doesn't work the way he would like it to).

Really? Why do we deserve it? This is the kind of hatred for our country Guiliani was talking about. Why do you hate America? Why do you stay here, if you hate it? The door is open. You're quite welcome to leave. I suggest Venezuela. Obama loves dictators. You might prefer that kind of system too.

In spite of the damage that Obama has already done, It is to, the greatest nation in the world. If you know of a greater one, please go there. Those who dislike America are not welcome here. The door is open. Please leave.

He doesn't have a better idea; but, are you not confirming the truth of Guiliani's comments?

I prefer a President that is proud to be American, loves America, loves Freedom and Liberty, and wants to ensure that nobody takes it away from us, and God knows there are people in the world, like Obama (throw Hilary in there too) who do want to take our freedoms and our liberty from us. Contrary to "Progressive" thinking, humans have not "progressed" and we still need to guard against those who desire absolute power, which is why our system was designed as it was. Obama knows that. That's why he wants to destroy it.

Wrong!

That said, I look forward to someone other than Obama being the president. I like his character, and I think he's got some reasonably ideas, but he's not what's best for the country right now.
He is a man of poor character. He is a narcissist who loves himself, loves power, and wishes to punish America for perceived wrongs, which he himself has never experienced. He spent his childhood in exclusive private schools, spent much of his formative years in Kenya, and was taught lies about America, about slavery, about the Crusades, about Jews ... and he believes them all. He has never had the typical "American experience" that most of us have had growing up. He is a foreigner. And he does hate America.

Obama fed off the message of black power for 20 years in the Rev. Wright church. How can a man love his country when he feeds off of God D America.. the message of Obama's church.

I recall the Iraqi Army was trained and ready to take on defense of their own country, the generals at the Pentagon told us so. If they had done the job they were trained to do we wouldn't even be talking, they had superior equipment and numbers but they chose to run, now why do you think that was the case.

The solution in Iraq is political, the Sunni's and Shiites need to come together and defend their country, the US spent 10 years and a few thousand lives that's enough.

The only thing predictable in the ME is that anything the US does will make matters worse, nothing else is predictable.

Guiliani's statement is typical of rightwingers who feel they have a monopoly on American patriotism. I see this type of behavior on many of the Fox News shows and from members of the tea party as well as politicians such as Palin. Questioning the President's loyalty, honor as Guiliani is despicable not onl to President Obama but to the millions of Americans who voted for Obama. Guiliani is indirectly criticizing everyone who cast a vote for the Democratic President, imo.

1) Giuliani is an irrelevant political hack making lame attempts at convincing people he's relevant.

2) Walker trodding the national stage would be yet another confirmation of the Peter Principle.

Assinine comments don't deserve that - it only gives credence to what he's saying. It really shows the idiocy of the right wingers - we've seen it for six plus years. Very similiar to the claims that Pres Obama wasn't born in our country, that he's heavily under the influence of Rev Wright and terrorist Bill Ayers. Guiliani is undermining the Office of the President of the United States and what it stands for. His words put him in the same category as whackjob Donald Trump and not a respected politician anymore.

But then again, any Liberal or even Democrat complaining needs to remember the treatment GWB received from his critics - making him look like a buffoon for much of his two terms.

Two-way street, I guess.
