You have it wrong. Obama has always waited too long, drew too many lines in the sand that were ignored. By his own actions he has been marginalized and has lost the respect of the world.
Agreed. I supported Obama's announced action against Syria, and I lost some respect when he failed to follow through. Had we intervened, things would undoubtedly look different today. I don't think he's lost the world's respect, but neglecting Syria was a serious mistake.
