Brian Williams worked for NBC News, an employee. Bill OReilly has his own program for which FOX has a contractual agreement to air on FOX News. Whether or not that agreement can be terminated is between FOX, OReilly and their various financial contributors.
Bill O'Reilly has been the subject of a witch hunt. This was a result of Williams admitting that he "misremembered." (he lied). The MSM couldn't stand the firestorm that ensued and that's when Mother Jones (David Corn) began a smear campaign against O'Reilly. O'Reilly has already produced hard evidence that Corn lied (no surprise there - par for Mother Jones).
The O'Reilly Factor is an opinion show. O'Reilly does not report "news."
What the MSM is now trying to do to O'Reilly, is what Dan Rather did to George Bush In case you forgot, Rather made up stories about Bush in an effort to smear him. This is what the Left does, with no shame (look what they did to Sarah Palin, and still do).
I wouldn't believe anything that comes from these Leftist "news" organizations. They're all liars.
Like FOX or any station would get rid of their top show over something like this is an absurd notion.
It seems as if the leftists are upset one of their boys was caught, so they now want to go after someone on the right.
That's exactly what it's about, and since O'Reilly had commented on the Williams admission, he became the target (besides, the Left hates O'Reilly, and Fox News).
It's fascinating to watch the number of people who simply can't accept that Brian Williams & NBC have been lying to them for years thus seek to find any justification for it. Delusion runs very deep these days.
The same people who tolerate Obama's lies that impact the nation and the world have such high standards for a cable show guy???? You'd think that to be consistent they would have run obama out of office long before a diligent search on cable programs.
