And therein resides the central problem with conservatives on this issue:
They are unable to apply critical intellect to distinguish between terrorists (minority) and most Muslims (majority) and just lump everyone together under the same stereotype...and therein alienate the large group of Muslims who are also fighting against ISIS and also play exactly into the ISIS narrative that they want. This is what happens when your entire view of international relations was derived from a Dirty Harry movie.

Islam itself is a religion that is governed by fear, intimidation and violence and that's without the terrorists. Moderate Muslims don't speak up against these things because they know it's a necessary evil in order for them to achieve the world domination that Mohammad envisioned.

All wars have been " holy wars" The Nazi's were a deep seeded religious cult driven by a combination of psychotic behavior and spirit idolatry. Japan fought to the death on islands believed to be a sacred monuments to their "gods". The Viet Cong were in sects call Hao Hao and Cao Dai they were pagan spirit driven non of which became part of our honky clueless war mentality. Then you put Americans in radically driven Allah crazies and the soup begins to boil over into stupid.
