Exactly. Get them on record, and force the issue of placing criminal aliens over American citizens, don't let this get buried as part of a bigger funding bill.

Oh, I see, people don't understand the Constitution.
Sadly, most don't and are too lazy to research the truth. Many blindly accept whatever they see or hear from the MSM. When the Democratic-controlled senate, under the direction of Harry Reid, shut the government down a couple years ago...who was painted as the party to blame by the MSM? Dems are nothing but paid mouthpieces of the liberal-controlled media.

They should do this with EVERY bill, no more bundling so far less opportunity for the media propaganda machine to shriek about the GOP blocking some bill with a catchy title that contains disastrous details that have nothing to do with the catchy title, like amnesty for illegals on a Homeland Security funding bill.

As the article describes, it's not clear how this move will be received, but I think this is smart for the Republicans. They would have been blamed. This poll puts blame on Republicans 53%, Obama 30%, both 13%.

Debate Obama on immigration directly. The GOP has an opportunity, here. Playing games with DHS is foolish.
"the Republicans. They would have been blamed.' Aren't they ALWAYS.

"How do Republicans get blamed?"

Duh! The SAME way they have been blamed for everything for the past 6 years.

Kinda like this. The House passes over 340 bills and sends then to the Senate. harry reid throws them in the trash and Obama, reid and the press blast all over the news, The republicans are the party of NO!"

"The repubs are stopping us from dong the business of the people?"

"The repubs are responsible for the gov't shutdown."

'The repubs are responsible for the Sequester"

Obama, 'I will NOT compromise." then the repubsa re balmed.

Betwen Obams, reid and the LSM I am surprised you even asked.

Etc., etc., etc.

Republicans have 3 choices at this point:

1. Shut the government down and let the system collapse.

2. Steal even more taxpayer money than Obama and his constituents and let the system collapse.

3. Slow the criminality of the Obama administration slightly and let the system collapse more slowly.

Oops! sorry to point out your mistake, but clearly you meant to write Democrats instead of Republicans.

I always knew the spineless Republicans would blink first.

Most of the bills were worthless drivel pandering to the fringe right. Like about 60 bills to repeal Obama's signature health care act.
