In that case, then the President cannot assure us this a good deal then.
If own a tenth of a single share of Time Warner, do you expect to be informed of every little detail in their negotiations with Comcast before anything was final?

This has nothing to do with that. He made a claim that Netanyahu made no "counter-solution" to deal with the farce over in Iran. Obama said his deal will be a good deal. Half of Congress and his allies said it is not a good deal. So If Obama veto's, he will have to explain why.

Half of the Congress is wrong , just like the year, they approved the Iraq invasion based on lies !! Seems like half of the Congress you referring to is working to please Satan-yahu instead of working with the US President.
And from Bibi's standpoint - his speech was pretty much all for naught - if it was designed to boost him in the Israeli elections. His Likud party and its allied parties - are tied or even a little bit behind in the polls. Now of course the real fun starts after the elections when they have to form coalitions in order to make up a government.

The speech does seem to have backfired a bit back home.
"Despite the buzz generated by his Iran speech to Congress last week, polls show Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is increasingly likely to be ousted in elections Tuesday by voters who say he overplayed the threat from the Islamic republic while ignoring economic problems closer to home."
Also, very interesting to me to read a local perspective, particularly one that clearly shows more respect for the office of the U.S. Presidency than many in this thread.
Israelis overwhelmingly want to see Israel go in a different direction following the March 17 election, according to a Panels Research poll taken for The Jerusalem Post and its Hebrew sister publication Maariv Sof Hashavua on Wednesday and Thursday.
Seventy-two percent of respondents said they wanted a change, 20% did not, and 8% had no opinion. A majority said the country was going in the wrong direction on socioeconomic issues and international relations. Asked if they want Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue to head the government, 48% said no and 41% said yes.
