You scored better than 99% of the public and the same as 1%.

I noticed that the only question that females beat males in answering was in regards to minimum wage.

I'm guessing that has to do with the wage gap and possibly more women working for minimum wage.

Uneducated men can generally exceed the minimum wage level due to physical labor jobs in industries like construction. That's much harder to do for women.

Most times I see mention of the "wage gap" it's due to unfair comparison more than unfair wages.

Missed this one:

On which of these activities does the U.S. government currently spend the most money?

You answered "Interest on the national debt"

You can take the same quiz at the above link. Take it, and let us know how you scored. I got 12 of 12 right, but one was an educated guess. Another I got right mainly by elimination--I knew that three of the choices were wildly wrong, so I went with the fourth choice.

At the end of the quiz they ask for some demographic info, and then give you a breakdown of how various demos performed on the quiz. There is also a link to the original survey that is worth looking at.

I got 11/12. . .top 97%. .missed Who is the current chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board?

That's what Fox News fearmongering does to a person.

According to the pew results, only 1% of the public got 12/12 correct and only 3% got 11/12 correct.

Yet here on CD, of the 25 people that told us their score so far:
9 people got 12/12 (36%)
14 people got 11/12 (56%)
2 people got 10/12 (8%)

Either, we have some brainiacs here on CD, or people aren't admitting their true scores, or people who got lower scores are not commenting at all.

I scored 12/12, and I reported my score. If had scored 6/12, I doubt I would have posted it.
