What have you got to say to that?

Were these loopholes closed back in 2009? Why not?

I keep waiting for some of you to figure out the truth....the two parties are NOT different in action. Just words.
Bump. Still waiting to hear from the OP.

Why is it that these tax dodging corporations are all over the whitehouse both inside and out?

rubbish, they used the system that was set up by the FCC. in other words they were smarter than everyone else. there was no cheating here, they didnt break any rules. if you dont like it, then contact the FCC or your representative in congress and tell them to change the rules.

Didnt we pay the difference in higher costs when they paid 30%?

Where else did it come from if not the consumer..

I set prices for a number of products sold to US consumers and you can rest assured that our tax rate is built into pricing to reach the desired after tax rate of return.

I'm guessing some of the posters here have spent their entire lives either working for the govt. in some capacity or working out of the home etc. Just no concept of having to cover "costs" or sell products etc.

Under a true free market guided tax system there would be no loopholes and a much lower tax rate. Loopholes are generally government encouraging corporations to behave in certain manners they might not otherwise.

Over 50% of Americans have 401Ks. What benefits corporations benefit wise Americans who work, consume and save for retirement.

Ditto.

Let me add we live in the age of globalization. We no longer benefit from being the only sound economy left after the devastation imposed by WWII. Our corporations must compete in the global marketplace. Low capital taxes are good for America.

Seriously? You want to make this political? We can go list both left and right issues (Haliburton ring a bell?) It doesn't change the underlying fact that its bad. People like you making things like this about politics are one of the reasons these things still occur.

How dare they use the system to not pay all that money. Everyone here would do the same. Don't be the first to cast the stone. Plus, these loopholes are voted on by out sick politicians. It's them that should pay.
