You mean like ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi? Who orders other to submit to his authority? Yep, they sure do.

>>>> Same deal with blacks being told to hate whites and whites being told to hate blacks. And rich vs poor and poor vs rich. Democrat vs. republican. Its all about people being kept divided so they don't see who the real enemy is and where the real problems are.
ISIS barely comes up on the radar screen in reality.

Can we use cult in capital letters and bold font more to emphasize the idea? Otherwise I think we're being soft on calling them a cult.

Is ISIS a religious cult more than a socially radical civic organization?

I don't think religion is their first priority. Creating a new caliphate is. At least, that's their stated goal. Al-Quida was more religion than anything else, and that's why they never bothered to seize and hold any of the territory then were in.

The Taliban are more similar to ISIS, but the Taliban's goals aren't as sweeping. They just want control of one nation and a lawless border region that belongs to a second nation.

ISIS wants to combine Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and every other nation they can hold in the middle east, and Libya, Algeria, Somolia, and every nation they can seize and hold in Africa into one big borderless empire ruled from one central city. Just like the ancient caliphate that was centered in Istanbul was for over 400 years.

Can such a thing happen again? Who knows? ISIS sure thinks they can do it.

All religions are cults.

ISIS members worship within a cult called Islam.

Who/where are these "many"? I've yet to see them. You have a link to a poll, or...?

It's a Mystery for sure - I'm still trying to figure out why the Leftists don't call ISIS Republicans.
Give them time, it could still happen. Right now they are just poor job seekers.

Since you two are apparently so concerned about Christians...
