I think he is saying that MOST trees used for paper are farm raised...(I know they are around where I live)
And in the past tree huggers were claiming that only trees that grow in the wild were cut to make paper.
There are some very huge tree farms around where I live owned by International Paper..
Here's something I bet will surprise you. It even surprised me. Go to MapQuest, and search for Millinocket ME. Set on aerial photo and go to maximum zoom, and start dragging your map down to see what it looks like north of there. Just keep going and going. Look at all that clear-cut bare ground, for 100 miles. If you're not impressed, then go to Centreville AL, and look south, down through the Talladega National Forest (which you and I own).
