Some communist, by the way: endorsed by veterans groups, Rpac (the lobbying arm on the National Association of Realtors), Firefighters, farmers, other senators, loads of seniors, and, well, the vast majority of voters in VT.

And finally - a prediction you'll like: Hillary Clinton won't run for the democratic nomination. You heard it here first (unless you heard it somewhere else...)!
well its a good thing we can always count on the ppl in VT to wast their vote. like they did with Dean even after he droped out of the election the voted for him LMFAO if they had voted for the actual running ppl maybe Scary would not have lost.

Sanders has been in office for years in VT. His election was no surprise.

Nah. Sanders is to the Left of most of the Democrats. He's a true independent.

Sanders is certainly left of center in the US, and he does have many socialist leanings, but he's nothing close to a communist.

I must admit I don't like Sanders. But he is no commie. At times he is close though.

I disagree with the guy quite strongly on some issues, and I applaud him on some issues. But I do admire the fact that he's managed to stay independent from the political "establishment" in Congress. By and large, I think we could use more guys and ladies along the vein of Sanders, and fewer career politicians like Ted Kennedy, Hillary, Pelosi, DeLay, Ken Lay, the Bushes, etc.

They better have Socialist leanings look at the posters on here that vote for them. They are waiting for the government to give them more money, take from the rich and give to them. Although they say they will do this but they never end up doing anything to make these people's life any better. If they only knew they are the masters of their own destiny not the government.
