Perhaps in a galaxy far, far away, the GOP could compete effectively for POTUS.

Spock is fiction, which explains why liberals will go to such lengths to justify what the character said. Liberals probably love the Borg, all one collective mind serving the queen, consuming everything in it's path.

Spock also risked the mission and earths entire future to save Checkov in The Voyage Home (1986), so much for "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".

This is the power of "branding" in politics and convincing people to vote in contrast to their actual political convictions.
NO, NO, NO.

You are arguing something simplistic when it is in fact complicated.

I could put Your father, spock, FDR, and any Tea Party member in the same room and ask them a question and they would all answer the same.

The problem is execution and practicality and none of the first 3 would agree with the tea party on that.

So no, they are not in theory conservatives as most Americans agree on the goals, its how we get there that the political battles are fought over and neither FDR, your father or Spock would agree with Conservatives on how to get there, heck the Tea Party regularly attacks FDR.

Actually the Borg sound more like ISIS and any religion for that matter, but unlike you and your shamelessness, im not going to claim conservatives like them.

Star Trek praises diversity, individual cultures, human sexuality; Heck it is implied that religion is for the most part gone on earth in that era .

Wrong that Spock was a rightie and wrong that Spock played any part in the rescue - just more GOP rewriting of Trek universe.
