I've always opposed illegal immigration, especially back when the flood began. But it's over. They're here. We're not going to deport 12 million people, so a solution should be found. The status-quo has failed - miserably.
Realist? That's the joke of the year. Then again, he said he will fundamentally change America and the way to do that is to put as much financial strain on the system and the people as possible. He's done that in more ways than one.

And more democratic votes.

Deporting 11 million people would be a tremendous financial strain on the country. What should we cut to come up with estimated $285 billion it would take?

Yes, deport all of them.

How do you expect America`s working poor to earn a living with millions of illegals taking jobs that belong to Americans and driving down the wages of those most in need?

You don't really think Democratic politicians are that haphazard to you. Democrats count on people like you to stay blind.... they call people who can't see it useful idiots.

We aren't allowed to call them illegal remember? There is a reason for that. First, allow them in the country, then they'll start to demand more and more and Democrats will tug on low information heart strings and call anyone who disagrees heartless. It's really easy to see the plan.

That's a lie. Obama admitted to cooking the books when it comes to those deportation figures:

Fine. You pay for it. And when businesses collapse, you can answer to them. Leave me out of it.

No, we can't deport all of them, even if we wanted to. And they'll just turn around and come back, anyway. Dumb, dumb idea.

This is one reason I oppose illegal immigration, but we can't deport 12 million people. There are other solutions. This isn't one.

Those who come here illegally do so for the same reasons as those who come legally, and it's not for colonization. Do you know any second generation immigrants, whose parents came here illegally? I do. I work with a few. They're as American as you and me. Colonization. LMAO.

If they are not legal immigrants, aside from having us ignore our own laws as the president does, how do these individuals who came here illegally incorporate themselves into a society where they cannot legally belong?

Oh, good grief! No one is talking about rounding up and deporting the over 11 million illegals. Instead, make life here so tough for them that they leave on their own accord. Make E-verify the law of the land. The tweak it so that it picks up things like illegals who name their anchor babies after themselves and then use said child's SSN. Once it's tweaked, run everybody in the work force through it to weed out those 8 million no-match SSNs. Do something about the whole anchor baby/birth tourism baby fiasco. Make sure that illegals can't tap into any welfare programs (and, yes, they do benefit when they have an anchor baby).

Would you stay someplace if you couldn't find a job or collect unemployment?

Sure, getting tough on illegals won't cause all of them to leave. Some will mooch off family members who aid and abet them. However, by getting tough, it will cause the majority to leave on their own accord.

Besides, if we did round them up and deport them all, it would be money well spent.

They've been doing it for thirty years. Perhaps you should ask them.
