I see the country breaking up into many smaller countries before that happens. A large part will look like Mexico, another like Africa and then there will be a safe, prosperous part with a fence 30' high and guards keeping the rest out and will be livable. Unless we change things right now.
This is something I want to see. While there are plenty of places with lower taxes they are all 3rd world countries with barely functioning governments, police forces that are glorified gangs of thugs, and infrastructure reminiscent of 1930s Appalachia.
Seriously, the only places on Earth that offer comparable lifestyles and business opportunities to the US are Western European countries, Canada, Australia, etc that have much higher tax rates. Tax rates that would make New York or California look like a bargain.
I've just visited two 3rd world countries with very high tax rates... hmm, I wonder if the government taxing them out the ass is why the people live in extreme poverty. Oh but there are wealthy parts... colonized by government.
Yes it is, all places under US sovereignty are populated by US citizens. US nationality and US citizenship are the same thing. You cannot have one without the other.
The sole exception is for residents of American Samoa but they are born US nations and merely have to apply for full citizenship after their 18th birthday.
You certainly can have nationality without citizenship. A Canadian national who acquires U.S. citizenship remains a Canadian national.
Are you sure you know "all places" under U.S. government sovereignty?
Title 28 United States Code, §3002. Definitions,
(15) “United States” means -
(a) a Federal corporation
FEDERAL CORPORATIONS - The United States government is a foreign corporation with respect to a state.
- - - Volume 19, Corpus Juris Secundum XVIII.
Foreign Corporations, Sections 883,884
"The United States and the State of California are two separate sovereignties, each dominant in its own sphere."
- - - Redding v. Los Angeles (1947), 81 C.A.2d 888, 185 P.2d 430.
If the mighty United States government wants to acquire land in little ole California, it has to ASK PERMISSION of the State.
That doesn't sound like sovereignty.
BTW - U.S. nationality is not synonymous with American nationality.
Do not believe me - write a polite letter to the State department asking for the "correct form" to file for a non-citizen AMERICAN national (not U.S. national) to purchase a passport. They will politely tell you which form to use, etc, etc.

I think you are correct for now but this country is slowly moving towards those countries. The government seems hell bent on controlling more and more and taxing you on everything.

Oh yeah? Which two 3rd world countries did you visit?
