I thought this was a parody, but it’s not.

He did tell us he wanted a domestic military force under his direct control with at least as great a budget and manpower as our regular military!
(Hitler pretty much spelled out the same kind of planning before he got into power )

Quote:
President Barack Obama today introduced his plan for a progressive takeover of state and local policing.

“We have a great opportunity… to really transform how we think about community law enforcement relations,” he said Monday.

It is true that the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing exists. The rest of the article could be called parody, but it would be more accurate to call it blatant and purposeful lying.

YAY my property taxes will go down, correct??? If the police are going federal then they will be funded through a federal budget and therefore we won't be expected to pay the millage on our property taxes for local police departments.

Cool

On December 18, 2014, President Barack Obama signed an Executive Order establishing the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The Task Force seeks to identify best practices and make recommendations to the President on how policing practices can promote effective crime reduction while building public trust and examine, among other issues, how to foster strong, collaborative relationships between local law enforcement and the communities they protect.
you think they will recommend ending the war on drugs and de-militarizing police depts?

This is theater on our dime and nothing more.

On the contrary, it's the righties who always say 'just do what the police officer says and don't confront him or her'.
