None of the above. It doesn't matter if is or not.
Unless you're a psychic mindreader there's no way to know if someone else chose
their sexuailty or were born with it. And why would you care anyway. A person's sexuality
is no one's business but their own. No one has the right to tell someone else
how to live their private life. We're not a theocracy and there's no law against being gay.
People should live their own life, if they have one and leave others to live theirs.
In other words mind your own damn business.
Sexuality is on a spectrum. Not every is even gay in the same way. I didn't vote in the poll, because it's really not a simple answer. I've known a few people that have swung both ways, so it obviously can be a choice for some, but it's not for others.
Exactly. I've known people who went one way, then went another for years, then decided it wasnt what they wanted, and went back. its a frame of mine for an individual, and clearly people can change their mind..
It's likely not THAT simple, but to say it's a choice is a sign of absolute stupidity and I stand by that. I don't care who get's offended. It doesn't make the slightest bit of sense to claim it's a choice. If it was a choice, who would choose it knowing there are people who would advocate for removing your from society?
And I can say from experience, I didn't choose to be heterosexual. It just sort of happened. Why would it be any different for gay people?
Did you ever have homosexual thoughts even for a minute?
For example, did you ever get a little excited looking at a man during porn?
I don't think this is a black and white answer. I understand it's been scientifically proved that you can have a chemical imbalance that makes you attracted to the same sex, and that's something you're born with, I think that's the majority. But I've always found it curious how there are a lot of "artificial attributes" stereotyped with homosexuality. Why is it that when they come out their voices get all sassy, with an intense feminine tone, and often a lisp (i really don't understand the lisp)? And why are they oversexualized? Straight people don't talk about sex, at least I don't, they sure as heck don't flaunt their sexuality around in public, that's a private sacred thing. And a lot of times their tastes change..An example with a personal friend of mine. He was a pretty normal dude, then he got into drugs, then he went insane, went to a mental home and got clean, came out and then literally CAME OUT... He started dressing femininely, talking different, and the WEIRDEST part of all he was a HUGE music buff who didn't like pop garbage. All of a sudden when he came out he pretty much only listened to Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, it's weird because that's a sad excuse for music and really more of a "product" and it's often called "gay" (in the derogatory sense where gay means bad, and no I'm not using it that way). Why did he go from listening to actually musical artists to pop products made for tweens and often referred to as "gay"? It seems like a choice...it's very strange. I understand if you're homosexual you may be proned to being more feminine, but why if you're say, a 25 year old man wouldn't you be more like a 25 year old woman.... not a 16 year old girl (which is what most gays act like)...curiouser and curiouser...Also finally, I'd like to note on bisexuals... essentially every bisexual I've met (and they're mostly women, but some men) have outright admitted being sex addicts, isn't that saying something? I think they just need more to feed their addiction, the men seem more attracted to girls and the girls seem more attracted to men, but they go for both. I recently read an article about david bowie, where he came out as being gay in the 70's and then said he was just a bisexual, and then in the 2000's he said it was all a mistake announcing that to the world, he's always been a heterosexual, it was just the lifestyle and the curiosity, and the shock value aspect of it that made him try it and publicize it, and he said he hadn't had many male lovers............SOOOO, No. It's not black and white. I think some people are born with it, some people are sex addicts, and some are just insane.
