No, they would not. Unless the editors of the paper weren't fired immediately the likely response would be rioting in the streets.
If that's the case, what it apparently says is people of some religions are as capable of over-reaction as any other, eh? We have freedom of the press in this country, let's hope it stays that way.

Haven't you seen the art displayed over the years insulting christianity in NYC galleries? Many unhappy and yet no one killed, fired or reprimanded.

Cartoons less inflamatory than killing christians wholesale. Perhaps the islamic reaction is out of proportion to civilization?

That punch would constitute a crime of assault. Unless gang culture has crept into your community.

We are a nation of laws not one of social justice vengence.

What does that have to do with a 3rd term? And did Obama use Benghazi to call off the presidential election and declare himself president for a 2nd term?

This is just a poll to show how stupid people are, in general, and how they worry about bull#@!.

These are the same dolts who think crime is worsening, even as crime falls significantly from the 90s.

The only thing that increased since 2001? hint it wasn't terrorist ,.. .it was people watching 24 hour news, fox news, and youtube.

. . .and your agreement. Okay, dude, wtf does Mexico's problems have to do with terrorism ....they have never conducted at terrorist attack into the US

Thanks for the daily reminder of the overall stupidity of average.

Agree. Just look what we have at the south border. And a huge extremist propaganda also. We stirred up a hornet's nest after 9/11. And continue to do so in the different ways. And who knows what will be farther? Interference in internal affairs of other countries will just pour oil on flames

Yeah, hello, this is Russia calling. We want to tell you there are these two brothers in Boston you might want to keep an eye on. Well! Russia didn't give any other clues so we ignored their warning... but we are watching you.

then there was the successful shoe bomber, benghazi, underwear bomber, times sq bomber, ft hood, kentucky recruiter murdered, etc which constitutes terrorist attacks carried out with obama and DHS in charge. the shoe bomber, underwear bomber and the times sq bomber successfully set off their bombs. DHS did not stop them. Their bombs were duds only by divine intervention, which excludes the savior obama.

Obama supressed information that conflicted with his narrative, Osama is dead and Aq is on the run.

I was not commenting on a 3rd term.

Which country are you referring to? In most of the EU Holocaust denial and hate speech are considered crimes punishable by imprisonment. For example,

Hate speech laws in France
France prohibits by its penal code and by its press laws public and private communication which is defamatory or insulting, or which incites discrimination, hatred, or violence against a person or a group of persons on account of place of origin, ethnicity or lack thereof, nationality, race, specific religion, sex, sexual orientation, or handicap. The law prohibits declarations that justify or deny crimes against humanity, for example, the Holocaust (Gayssot Act).[29]

Germany
In Germany, Volksverhetzung ("incitement of popular hatred") is a punishable offense under Section 130 of the Strafgesetzbuch (Germany's criminal code) and can lead to up to five years imprisonment.[citation needed]Section 130 makes it a crime to publicly incite hatred against parts of the population or to call for violent or arbitrary measures against them or to insult, maliciously slur or defame them in a manner violating their (constitutionally protected) human dignity.

Thus for instance it is illegal to publicly call certain ethnic groups "maggots" or "freeloaders".[citation needed]Volksverhetzung is punishable in Germany even if committed abroad and even if committed by non-German citizens, if only the incitement of hatred takes effect within German territory, e.g., the seditious sentiment was expressed in German writ or speech and made accessible in Germany (German criminal code's Principle of Ubiquity, Section 9 §1 Alt. 3 and 4 of the Strafgesetzbuch).

Denmark
Denmark prohibits hate speech, and defines it as publicly making statements by which a group is threatened (trues), insulted (forhånes) or degraded (nedværdiges) due to race, skin colour, national or ethnic origin, faith or sexual orientation.[25]

Hate speech - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Even in the west free speech has its limits.

Under French and Danish laws those Muslim cartoons could be considered hate speech so I'm surprised they were allowed to be published.

So your comment had nothing to do with my post.
