And for those of us who know FREEDOM here in Colorado....there is no guilt. Cookies are LEGAL. Pot is LEGAL.

And..as evidenced by the nay-sayers, STUPIDITY is also LEGAL.

And face it, if THC lowered IQ's we'd all be policemen.

At least they didn't give that poor teacher "wax" or he'd be HALLUCINATING! (according to yet another Occifer DumbCop)

Peoria drug investigation nets 1 arrest, finds marijuana wax - CBS 5 - KPHO

No guilt at all here as I have nothing to feel guilty about. Also, I'm not ignorant to believe this idiot. Anybody who thinks you cannot control how much THC you consume is an absolute idiot.

Scientists and drs used to believe a lot of things in the past that were complete, utter BULL ****! For centuries, drs used to think blood letting was a great treatment, scientists used to think in all sorts of wacky BS as well.

I'll take the thoughts and opinions of people who have actually tried it and actually know first hand what happens over some quacks that would probably lose grants and respect if they came flat out said "Yeah MJ is great, nothing bad at all and has all kinds of great benefits".

Politicians aren't interested in the truth or justice, just what lobbyists and their mentally challenged ilk spew.

In your THC laden cookie you also get all the evil bad nasty chemicals and adulterants ... and those truly do make the user stupid by definition ... or are the users on here telling me their pot is ALWAYS good. ... has never been handled by someone else ... has never been adulterated... and is always grown organically according to the California health and safety code... and then is never processed improperly

All bunk
You're getting all you want... and a whole lot more

Moonshine killed or damaged a lot of people too... Phillip Morris is salivating at the whole new population of addicts

The kid needs to be held accountable for his action proportional to the damage he caused and the needs of the community to show disdain for this behavior ... jail ... hmm ..not sure... expulsion... absolutely...let him stay home and smoke pot and find out firsthand the low quality of life that comes with drug use.
Wonder about the workers comp claim and what that will cost ...

You're only a virgin once and if the teacher chose abstinence as a way of life and as an example for students or others ... like I do.. I would be looking for more than a slap on the wrist

Can you imagine what they COULD have produced had they made the choice not to use drugs.. and how about the greater brilliant minds that did NOT use MJ

Drug use.. insert any you like including abused legal ones.... makes a life unrealized by definition doesn't it?

We have no clue what they COULD have produced had they not slowed down that synapse now do we....

And the straw man argument that because someone else did something and they are brilliant. does not make one a scholar...we already know from science that it makes developing minds.. less brilliant...

Drugs like MJ.. a narcotic ( a CNS depressant..sleep producing) scientifically does not make one brilliant.. it sedates the brain... kills motivation.. and is destructive to the spirit...

Obviously it didn't MAKE them brilliant, but they chose to use it and it either effected them positively or neutrally. Marijuana and other mind altering substances (mushrooms, lsd, etc) are often cited as huge sources of inspirations for artists. You can shove all the government sourced propaganda down your throat you want and believe it if you'd like, but it will never change the truth. The few negative effects of marijuana pale in comparison to those of alcohol and tobacco and as long as those are legal your argument is essentially pointless. Also, it's helped so many people in countless ways, from physical medical issues, to mental, to fighting a creative block as an artist, musician or writer, to aiding depression, the benefits exponentially outweigh the negative aspects. I know many, many, many human beings who are sharp, articulate, intelligent, members of society and they smoke daily. I also know deadbeat losers who are lazy and aimless and they don't smoke AT ALL. You are who you are a plant won't change that, but if you can get some relief from pain or some inspiration from it, why not use it?

What do you know cruxan???

What is your profession?
Is it one that can bring you in first hand with some and all the tentacles it has?
How it can touch and effect so many in ways most cannot even imagine.

And your highly intelligent reply is "Keep preaching the reefer madness"

Police Officers know and see so more than most people do. From all sorts of crimes to doping, drugs, burgluries, prostitution.
Things you couldn't even fathom exists.

But to realize that and accept that, one would have to put their big boy pants on and not hide behind a substance and or addiction to take away the pains of reality.
