I'm willing to bet its easier to kill someone with a knife, than a piece of paper, which simply as the words "permit" on it.

A Nevada couple has been told that they can't adopt a 12-year-old child because they have legal concealed-carry permits.

Maybe they are worried they will get a paper cut and bleed to death.

It's a way of reinforcing their world views, but it usually involves many logical fallacies and expressing their opinions emphatically and/or angrily in caps.

I did not state "easily." I stated "accidentally." I believe there is quite a disparity in the definition of those two words.

So you are afraid they will accidentally, take a piece of paper with "permit" on it, and then get a paper cut and bleed to death?

Tell me how the words, "easily", or "accidentally", changes the stupidity of this argument?

The topic is denying people something because of your biases.

If they believe these people shouldnt foster because they have a gun, but oppose drug testing welfare recipients, then they are hypocrites
I'm not sure that welfare recipients are allowed to foster a child. Can they?

The claim was that they were emotionally unstable. The inference is that they aren't looking to do something accidentally. They also can not accidentally harm someone with an item that is on another person.

Under one posting, you demand people FOLLOW THE RULES, and then in another, claim there shouldnt be any rules.

Kinda hypocricital
Voter ID, or lack thereof, does not endanger a high risk, foster child.
