Why do we need presidential intervention to address black on black crime and the breakdown of black families? How is the president supposed to help solve those issues? I don't understand why it should be any president's agenda item to solve those issues. Again, we need to quit with the attitude that we need a savior to fix those things we could be fixing ourselves.
Exactly.
The question is, why isn't the Black community fixing those things themselves?
The Black Community is doing a great deal in trying to solve the problems of the Black Communities here in America.
Black Scholarships Sponsored By The Black Communities
Community Organizations geared to solve the Unemployment and Underemployment problems of the Black Community
Various Mentoring Programs to lead the Under Class of the Black Community out of theirs present State of Hopelessness
Urban League.....NAACP.....HBCU...Historic Black Colleges and Universities and the list goes on and on
So why isn't any of that working? Why are 70% of Black births to unwed mothers? Why are Blacks still disproportionately undereducated? Why are Blacks overrepresented on the welfare rolls? Why is Black on Black violent crime still so high?

Do you deny that Eric Holder is a racist?
The Democrats were the conservatives in the past; the roles have obviously changed. Don't see the point you're trying to make.
There's still plenty of racism today, too. See the OU video as a recent example.
There's data out there, but I don't have the time to find it at this time. I'll post later tonight. There's a reason, though, that conservatives do not have much minority support.

No one seems to mention that black on black crime has actually decreased in the past 20 years, and that the graduation rates for blacks are increasing, but let's continue to pretend that black people aren't doing anything at all to solve these problems. Also the wedlock statistic doesn't take in account if the fathers are in the children's lives or not, and for couples that are together, but haven't married.
That in and of itself is bad enough, but pay very careful attention to the much lower basic proficiency percentages for Black students.
Black students' basic math proficiency percentage by 12th grade: 7%
Basic reading proficiency percentage by 12th grade: 16%
Got that? Only 7% of Black high school graduates are proficient at 12th grade math, and only 16% of Black high school graduates are proficient at 12th grade reading.
Are Blacks inherently less intelligent than everyone else? Or are Democrats insisting on keeping them trapped in subpar public schools and therefore ensuring they're kept dumb, poor, and therefore voting for Democrats for life/generations?
The truly sad part of it all is that the majority of public high school graduates of ALL races haven't even received a high school-level education.
This is what stuck out to me at the most. If only 26% of public school students are proficient in math, and 38% are proficient in reading, then this shows that this is an nationwide issue, not just a black issue.

Why are you ignoring the MUCH lower proficiency percentages for Black 12th grade students?
Are Blacks really inherently less intelligent than Asian or White students?

No. But do some people, liberals included, act like are? Yes.
