Correct.

I was trying not to say it in the interest of being polite so i'm glad you did.

I agree. Any news source has to be filtered by the consumer. A conservative friend once reprimanded me for reading the New York Times. "Why would you drink your water from a dirty glass?" he asked accusingly. My reply was that I would filter the water before I let it in.

There is no such thing as 'trust' when it comes to media, any more than with spam email. Filter everything; test everything.

I will say that Fox News has the hottest female talking heads and best presentation. That alone makes it worth watching from time to time.

I have no doubt that's a big part of the attraction of the network for all the old geezers sitting around at home all day with nothing better to do.

And after clicking that link, the only thing is shows me is there is alot of political bias. Republicans are the most likely to trust it, and Democrats are not nearly as likely to trust it.

All of this is driving by political slant.

Say, isn't that ageism?

What is Ageism? | The Affect of Ageism in America | Ageism in Assisted Living | ALFA’s Position on Ageism

No doubt you are right. But the trial lawyers would reach into your pocket and make you pay for telling the truth if you were not a) anonymous and b) lacked that magic D next to your name.

Think of cable news as a battle between car companies. Fox news would be an auto maker who builds gas guzzling SUVs, big trucks and roomy sedans. MSNBC would sell $50k electric cars that have a range of 20 miles and burn up in your garage, taking your house along with it. Maybe CNN would sell no frills econo boxes.
Fox News just sells their product better. MSNBC couldn't sell hot cocoa to eskimos. MSNBC just sucks at what they do and if they had to survive on their own, they couldn't. All three have about the same slant its just that some have something more people want, some not so much.

Fox does report with a slant to the right but they do at least provide the other side the chance to provide their case most of the time. Some of the other networks are completely one-sided to the left.
