Many on the left seem to admire Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton more because of their constant lying and deceptiveness.
That is a figment of your imagination, right along with both of them "constantly lying". Add to that your statement that FAUX News is the "most trusted" and that makes strike three.
Around 1000 people are polled, and they say FAUX News is the "most trusted", and the OP says that 1000 people polled represent 315 million Americans.
Only from FAUX News watchers would such a generalization be made.
(If I did the same polling where I live, I'd likely get the same result. There is a high wingnut quotient in my location. Now if I did this polling in San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, or elsewhere, I'd be laughed at)
That is how polling is routinely done, in case you did not know. A "sample" is taken and the results are extrapolated for the entire population from the sample.
And Quinnipiac tends to be left leaning if anything. Not that it appears they tried to pull anything here.
You should try to learn something about the basics of statistics, if you get the chance. Not trying to be mean or snarky. I think you would get a lot out of it and you might even enjoy it
Well, this is pretty much a no-brainer, considering the rock-solid consistent results of the cable news ratings over the last 14 years, but in case there is still anyone out there that did not know, here is a poll by Quinnipiac to confirm it:

You can extrapolate 1000 polled to make FAUX News "the most trusted", but I am not about to extrapolate the results to represent 315 million people.
If you watch FAUX News (which you clearly do), I can understand why you would believe this segment of the population would represent 315 million people. I'm surprised a polling result would make you say such a thing, considering a poll in city I previously mentioned would likely put FAUX News in the lowest tier of trust amongst cable news, and you would immediately dismiss the results.

Do learn some basic statistics before making an ass of yourself over and over.
They didn't find 1000 people in Lubbock, TX and interview them. That would obviously not be a valid poll because the sample is not representative of the population.

Gee, danny --- it's obvious that YOU watch Fox News. After all, you seem to know exactly what their programming is like. Hmmm....

You know when I watch FOX? I watch it when I see a lowlights clip posted on various websites. The way they massage the truth is not even very convincing, but when you have a 24/7 news cycle, I wouldn't expect any propaganda arm of the Republican Party to get it right every time.

Yeah, Fox should know to copy their stories from those truth-tellers over at CNN and MSNBC. LOL.

There is an unmistakable bias to every story you hear on FOX News. The people who live in that echo chamber would surely never recognize it as this is usually the only news source they turn to. All you have to do is look on this forum and the contempt that people like yourself have for all other media outlets.
FOX and people like Limbaugh and Beck, to name only a few, have convinced the FOX crowd that the mainstream media is "liberal" when, in reality, the only MSM outlet that I know of with a liberal bias is MSNBC, and their morning show (Morning Joe) is dominated by conservatives, and Joe is known to talk over liberals on his program. He runs the show, and he is not that different from Bill O'Reilly in his tone. Most of his BS goes unchallenged, and that's three hours of programming every morning, so even MSNBC is not as liberal as you might think it is.
