First govt-run recreational pot store opens in Gorge
NORTH BONNEVILLE, Wash. -- The country's first government-run recreational marijuana store opened in the Columbia River Gorge.
The Cannabis Corner, opened Saturday in North Bonneville. The city's mayor, Don Stevens, made the first purchase.
"It's a feeling of relief and excitement," said Stevens. "It's taken a year-and-a-half and people on our board and staff to get to this point."
