Obama is in the process of paving the way for Iran to build nuclear weapons. We know he is chummy with the enemies of our country, as we can see here, and we also know he is not a supporter of our ally Israel.

Obama's foreign policy has been a series of blunders and a disgrace to our country, so it is not like anyone with a brain has any reason to "Just trust him". Now he is poised to make the biggest blunder he can conceivably make, which is to put nuclear weapons into the hands of Iran and their terrorist network. The same Iran that has publicly, on numerous occasions, from the highest positions of power, made clear their desire and intention to wipe Israel right off of the map.

Anyone want World War III? What additional blunder can Obama and his crew commit that would surpass this? This appears to be shaping up to be a truly horrible agreement, clearly designed to get an agreement just so that he can say that he got one, national and international security be damned. Obama has made it clear that this is what he wants this agreement to be his legacy coming out of his second term. What a narcissistic lunatic this person is.

If Obama wants a deal here, then it needs to be a good one, which means a much better deal than this is shaping up to be.

As inconceivable as this may be to Obama and his supporters, this is not all about Barack Obama and what he wants.

The Iranian Foreign Minister represents a world wide sponsor of terrorism. Does that qualify him to be invited to address an open session of Congress, in your view? Since when have we ever invited our enemies to address the Congress?

The Senate has a duty to ensure that all "Treaties" (and this isn't being called a treaty) and negotiations with foreign governments are in the best interest of the United States. That's why they were given an "Advice and Consent" role (a Super Majority must approve of any such "deal").

You might do well to learn something about the workings of our Government, and who has authority for what.

Oh, believe me, Democrats have been pulling shenanigans for many years. This is within the authority of the Senate.

The "clowns" are the Democrats.

How many seats did you lose in the House and Senate last November?

His bidding?

The U.S. and the UK along with agreement from others "forced" creation of Israel with actual Jewish input being of minimal say in the matter.

The U.S. created the present day situation with the theocratic ruling of Iran by It's complicity using the CIA in fomenting the ouster of it's then newly and democratically elected leader in the mid fifties because he was making noises about nationalizing Iran's oil industry:

1953 Iranian coup d'état - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In August 2013, 60 years after, the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) admitted that it was involved in both the planning and the execution of the coup, including the bribing of Iranian politicians, security and army high-ranking officials, as well as pro-coup propaganda.[11][12] The CIA is quoted acknowledging the coup was carried out "under CIA direction" and "as an act of U.S. foreign policy, conceived and approved at the highest levels of government."

Installation of the U.S's "puppet", shah Reza Pahlavi resulted in Iranians being subjected to a generation or more of the deadly Savak secret police and an authoritarian rule over all things you take for granted in the U.S. as god given freedoms and rights. They"re rightly pizzed at the U.S. and YOUR b**ch Israel.

We're you sleeping throughout those 5 decades?

Netanyahu is YOUR b***h of your creation Not the other way around; the pity is he has to use confrontation to REMIND your bought-and-paid-for retards of this from time to time.

He is given no choice but to keep his eyes on Iran, a country whose theocratic leadership has sworn to eradicate Israel and who also supports Hezbollah who has "the death of Israel" written in it's very charter"!

How disconnected from the reality of history do you have to be to ignore it so completely?

These Leftists are just ticked off because they have been stripped of much of their power. Too bad, too sad.

Your opinion only.

What is your opinion of Bush's foreign policy? I think it was a travesty.

There wasn't a need to begin with and I can't recall any congress seeing a need to take action such as this, what is the point of threatening to defeat a deal when they don't know all the details and is still in progress. There may not be a deal in any event but several nations in addition to the US seem to feel this is a positive step. Even if there is a republican president in 2017 I don't see him reneging on a deal which includes some of our closest allies, so what's the point of the letter other than to threaten and attempt to make very sensitive negotiations even more difficult.

The GOP is also insulting our allies like Great Britain, France and Germany by this mindless and toothless threat to revoke any agreement in 2017.

Sad that there are so many R Law Makers in the Senate willing to demonstrate their ignorance of our Laws. Or maybe it's that they are so convinced the ignorance of their followers could be relied on.
