Vice President Biden Enters Betty Ford*Center, Sources Reveal - DrudgeReport
Quote:
RANCHO MIRAGE, California – Vice President Joe Biden, 72, reportedly entered the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California on Feb. 26. According to a source close to the chemical dependency recovery facility, the Vice President was escorted into the Center late Thursday evening by several members of the Secret Service and Dr. Jill Biden, the Vice President’s wife.

Biden’s official White House schedule makes no mention of an official event in or near Southern California, leading many to wonder if the the Vice President’s visit is because of a substance abuse or alcohol problem.

Biden’s recent headlines concern what some describe as his “erratic” behavior – a charge dismissed by close friends and associates – brushed aside with the comment That’s just Joe being Joe! Others say the odd conduct can only be described as “chemically fueled.”
Hmmm...

Oh look! Biden hit pieces. They must think he is considering a run for the presidency.

Would anyone really be surprised if it turned out that Biden had an alcohol or substance abuse problem? Let's face it, he kind of looks like the proverbial drunk uncle that parents don't leave their kids around unsupervised, and every time he shows up in public he does something that makes you question his sobriety.

That's what makes it believable.
Pretty limited sourcing; could be bogus.
We'll see.

That would explain a lot of the creepy teen girl groping that we see him doing...

Agreed, and quite frankly I don't care if he's a raging alcoholic. IMO, every VP since the days of Bush 41 has been nothing but an insurance policy to make sure that the President didn't get assassinated.

Quayle: Kind of a national laughing stock. Nobody wanted him as President, so Bush was fairly safe no matter what he did.

Gore: Arrogant ass who likes to tell people to conserve energy while flying around in a private jet and living in a mansion which uses roughly 6 times the amount of energy consumed by the average American home. Again, nobody wanted him in office. Heck, Clinton sent him out of the country and left him there for a while, so we can assume that he didn't want him around either. The fact that he got as many popular votes as he did says a lot about how far the electorate in this country has fallen.

Cheney: I'm not going to say he's the Anti-Christ, but have you ever seen him and the Anti-Christ in the same room together? Let's face it, Cheney has come to represent everything that is wrong with the political-corporate marriage that is running this country.

Biden: The only thing he's managed to contribute to the political landscape in the past half a decade is hilarity and a rather entertaining debate. Quite frankly, he's nearly as arrogant as Gore was, but at least he's entertaining about it.

Around here he's referred to as "Brain Tumor Biden".

...a community that finds humor in brain cancer. I wouldn't be so quick to brag about that, lady.

I don't think it matters much party wise as Teddy Kennedy was a known drunk with some pretty discussing behaviour for years. Its really likely to end his run for presidency so. same as Teddy Kennedy's did finally. It might explain some of his off cuff comments or over heard. Many just saw him as kind a character you never knew what he would say type.Hope he gets help if true.
