We have many social programs designed to take away money from everyone and give it to a smaller subset of people, such as Social Security and Medicare. There has been many people who advocate more social programs even though we can't afford Social Security or Medicare. However, it suddenly dawned on me that we are paying the Ultimate Social Program called "Foreign Relations". Are we not spending hundreds of billions of dollars to take "care" of other countries, whether for war, setting-up puppet governments, or foreign aid packages. It seems to me this a massive social program that utilizes our tax dollars. A social program that takes care of the WORLD'S population at OUR expense. What are your thoughts?
I believe that we should stop ALL foreign aid except to countries whose citizens are starving from weather disasters as that is just humane.
I believe we should pull all our troops out all over the world and let all those Communists, socialists and south American and Mid Eastern countries fend for themselves.
Just think of the billions upon billions of dollars we would save...and therein lies the solution to be able to afford Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, prescription drug programs and...yes...affordable health care.
Oh yes, lest I forget, instead of supporting illegal Mexicans send em all back with GPS probes embedded in their ears so we can catch em and jail em when they try to return.
the ways to save money through better government are endless and maybe..
Are people who want socialized programs narcissistic? I was reading the definition today and it seemed to be right on, 1) Egocentric - they think all that matters in the U.S. is them. 2) Lack Empathy - they don't care if you are wealthy or middle-class, whether you have bills to pay and kids to raise. 3) Use others for their own goals - obviously they want your money. 4) Sense of entitlement - Entitlements is the foundation of socialization of programs. What do you think? Are those supported by socialized programs narcissistic people when it comes to entitlement programs?
If a person has a portfolio worth several billion dollars, and feels like he needs, wants and deserves more money, that sounds pretty narcissistic to me. If a down-and-out person lives on the street and feels like perfectly good food in a dumpster should not go to waste, and wonders why there is a lock on the dumpster, that doesn't sound quite so narcissistic.

Whose definition was that? Limbaugh's ?
People who are against the UNITED States and hate the idea of doing something for this country by helping their fellow Americans create a strong country are:
1.Egocentric, if everything is fine in their tiny world they think everything is fine and always will be.
2. Have no empathy for those less fortunate but will call themselves "christian"
3. Use others for their own goals, they want all the money.
4. Sense of entitlement....yes, and some of that is GOOD.
We ALL ARE entitled to certain things in this country! My taxes entitle me to a LOT! As I said in another thread my taxes should entitle me to something besides dead soldiers.
I don't feel I am entitled to abuse others to get what I want.
