OK, to be fair, I would like to see another source on this. Not because this news source is any less credible than the New York Times or some other left leaning publication (laughing out loud), but because this is so incendiary that it really almost takes my breath away a little bit.

Of course Obama and his crew will deny and deflect regardless of whether it is true or not. That is what they do. {rolleyes}

Nevertheless, what is interesting about this story is not only what it could do to the candidacy of Hillary Clinton, but also what it could do to the legacy of Barack Obama, especially among Democrats who are inclined to support Hillary Clinton.

From the perspective of most conservatives like me, Barack Obama is a truly pathological narcissist who has conducted his presidency as if it were a grand opportunity for self indulgence towards himself, and antagonism towards his enemies and detractors, as if everything is all about him; and this story is not inconsistent with the expectations that have developed because of that.

There have been a number of stories about the animosity between the Clintons and the Obamas, so of course there is nothing new on that front. But this level of antagonism by Obama would be new, in that it is towards one his own cabinet secretaries, who just happens to be the leading candidates to replace him 22 months.

I would not have expected it to leak out that Obama instigated this, but Vallerie Jarrett is apparently such a clod that it really should not come as a shock. But between her detractors and Hillary's supporters, a story like this, assuming it is true, was probably bound to come out.

Quote:
Obama adviser behind leak of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal

Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett leaked to the press details of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail address during her time as secretary of state, sources tell me. But she did so through people outside the *administration, so the story couldn’t be traced to her or the White House.

In addition, at Jarrett’s behest, the State Department was ordered to launch a series of investigations into Hillary’s conduct at Foggy Bottom, including the use of her expense account, the disbursement of funds, her contact with foreign leaders and her possible collusion with the Clinton Foundation.

Six separate probes into Hillary’s performance have been *going on at the State Department. I’m told that the e-mail scandal was timed to come out just as Hillary was on the verge of formally announcing that she was running for president — and that there’s more to come.

This was clearly an attack from the left. I doubt we ever get to the bottom of where it started because lying has become common place.

I have a feeling the retribution will be ugly if Hillary does make a come back and win. It would be fun to watch and almost enough to root for her.

The Obamas and the Clintons hate each other and the acrimonious relationship has been well reported. Obama obviously doesn't want Hillary to follow him into the White House. Perhaps Warren is his choice?

But, but, Bush, Walker, Paul and Rubio own laptop computers and, and they used them to send emails to people. At least that's been the CD liberal response thus far.

Hillary's duplicity and above the law mindset will continue to be an issue, that is for certain. However, this is about Obama using basically the same sort of tactics he used against conservatives in the IRS intimidation scandal on Hillary Clinton.

NOTHING that Barack Obama does would shock me........but this would be further proof that there is no bar that he cannot lower.

The reason I do give this story some credibility is that, as texan2yankee pointed out, the Obamas and the Clintons hate each other. And there's nobody smaller or more petty in his behavior than Barack Obama.

He has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This is a mental illness. He would risk WWIII to defend his tiny self and gigantic ego. Oh wait, he's doing that now.

My money is on Bill Clinton. I think Obama is out matched in the dirty politics arena. Game on! Can't wait to see the leaks that start to emerge about Obama. Love how the Dems like to eat their own.

Left to his own device Obama would have the bar on the ground.

I saw this story earlier today but reserve any thoughts until I hear something that is credible about any source.

Doesn't this seem to contradict Ed Klein's claim that Valerie Jarrett was the force behind the disclosure of the email scandal?

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/03/us...lags.html?_r=0
Quote:
The existence of Mrs. Clinton’s personal email account was discovered by a House committee investigating the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi as it sought correspondence between Mrs. Clinton and her aides about the attack.
I read Ed Klein's Blood Feud. He's a good writer and very entertaining, but it's impossible to know how much of it is truth and how much is fiction. I say the same thing about Halperin and Heilemann, (Game Change), who write in the same genre. But H&H get a lot more love from the MSM and liberaldom generally, because they avoid making Bill, Hill, & Barack look like frothing-at-the-mouth idiots. Klein doesn't mind doing that. H&H have done that only to Sarah Palin, and of course libs are OK with that.
